Notes: This is set by testing each RAM chip and in Production machines will be either 65535 for a 48K Spectrum or 32767 for a 16K Spectrum. Once set, it remains constant and is preserved by the NEW command.
PEEK 23731 will give the value 255 on a 48K machine and 127 on a 16K model.
It should not be poked.
