Snaps and Taps to download.
A snapshot file (.sna) is a 48K snapshot
of the Spectrum's memory.
A tapfile (.tap) contains programs, code,
and data just like a real Spectrum audio tape.
Don't forget to enter
after you have selected it in your emulator.

I began work on the animated gif above in 1985. The program that plots the frames was published in the Program File section of Personal Computer World in June 1986 along with some Alphacom 32 screendumps.
Unlike some Mickey Mouse animation
systems which use stored frames, Globeplotter plots each pixel
as you see it and the only stored frame, in the example above,
is a map of the world.
Download Spectrum Globeplotter for the ZX Spectrum or try online in Jasper ZX Emulator
You can place your favourite loading screen on a spinning globe .
